Frequently Asked Questions

The first step is completing our Project Questionnaire. From there Pratt Guys will reach out to schedule a consultation with one of our Backyard Consultants to discuss your outdoor living vision.

We’ll provide you with a detailed proposal for the project. Once the proposal is approved and a deposit has been paid you will move to our design phase. We do our research to make sure your project is tailored to your specific homesite. We will meet with your HOA and building department to verify restrictions, take elevation measurements of your terrain, and study how the sun path creates natural shade at different times of day and year.

Our design team is experienced in outdoor living spaces and devoted to creating a completely unique design specifically for your tastes and needs. No two are the same; there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. We make every detail reflect your life and style.

Our preview is a 3-D, walkthrough video that allows you to see your space almost exactly like it will be in real life. This step allows you to check the flow of your space, and imagine yourself and your family actually using the landscape design. Now is the time to make it perfect before Pratt Guys breaks ground.

We’ll handle all the engineering, permitting, and HOA approvals to get your project ready for construction. Throughout this process, we’ll keep you informed of progress and any updates.
